RC Helis

I have a few RC Helis now:
The Walkera 4#3B is a micro 4 channel fixed pitch heli and is small and light (with cheap parts) and withstands most impacts. It is a good candidate as a trainer for beginners like myself.
In flight photos are a little difficult with the Walkera as it is fairly flighty and handling the camera and controlling the Heli is a bit beyond me presently. I have however managed to snap some pics of the EFilght's Blade CX2 (4 channel co-axial) whilst in flight:
Only after some considerable amount of time (and practice upon a flight SIM and with my other helis) have I been comfortable to idle up and then actually lift off with Venom's Night-Ranger 3D (a 6 channel collective pitch heli). I have tinkered with the head and put some of the alloy upgrades on it and have only over the last couple of weekends started to get some actual hover practice with it.

Tomorrow might be worth a look as well. 20:20 04/01/2009

Especially considering it should have a magnitude of -1.6.
Ground Track Plot

Updated: To note that the attempted observation was unsuccessful as the twilight was still too strong.

Astronomical Smily

Whilst I'm posting about things astronomical:

ISS planned observation in a couple of minutes

Yes - I saw it but no photos sorry.

After my fluke observation last night I verified the object using the below online resource and also used it to identify tonight as another opportunity.

Observed the ISS pass overhead nearly as bright as Venus
